Description: Johnny Cash’s At Folsom Prison is the legendary live album recorded at Folsom State Prison in California in January 1968 and released on Columbia Records later that year. This 12" LP is the 2010 Reissue released through Columbia. The album contains 16 tracks across two sides, including “Folsom Prison Blues”, “Cocaine Blues”, “25 Minutes To Go”, “Orange Blossom Special”, “The Long Black Veil”, “Jackson”, “I Got Stripes”, “Green, Green Grass Of Home” and “Greystone Chapel”.
Recorded during Cash’s historic concert at Folsom Prison, the album captures the energy and spontaneity of his live performances, with songs ranging from hard-edged country and prison-themed numbers to more reflective material. The inclusion of “Jackson” and “Give My Love To Rose” with June Carter adds another memorable dimension to the performance.
