This 12" 2LP 180g edition is the 2018 reissue, released through RCA. The album features 13 tracks, including the singles “Radioactive” and “Pyro”, alongside “The End”, “Back Down South”, “Birthday”, “Mary”, “The Face”, “Come Around Sundown”, “Cold Desert”, “Closer” and “Walls”.
Come Around Sundown balances Kings Of Leon’s arena-sized rock sound with more restrained and introspective moments. From the driving energy of “Radioactive” and “Pyro” to the atmospheric closing tracks, the album showcases the band moving beyond the rawer Southern-rock influences of their early records.
Pressed across two 180g LPs, this edition gives the expansive production plenty of room to breathe and makes a strong addition to any Kings Of Leon or alternative rock collection.
