Produced with a range of collaborators including Blake Mills, Bartees Strange, Collin Pastore and Jay Som, the record balances lush instrumentation with the directness of Dacus’ songwriting. “Ankles,” “Best Guess” and the title track highlight the album’s romantic and introspective character.
Pressed on Clear Vinyl, this edition offers a particularly attractive presentation of Dacus’ latest solo work and is a strong addition for fans of indie rock, alternative and singer-songwriter music.
