Description: Motörhead’s Another Perfect Day is the band’s sixth studio album, originally released on 4 June 1983. It occupies an important place in the band's catalogue as the only Motörhead studio album to feature guitarist Brian “Robbo” Robertson, best known for his work with Thin Lizzy.
This 12" LP is the 40th Anniversary Edition, released in 2023 with a new half-speed remaster of the original album. The 10-track record features “Back At The Funny Farm,” “Shine,” “Dancing On Your Grave,” “Rock It,” “One Track Mind,” “Another Perfect Day,” “Marching Off To War,” “I Got Mine,” “Tales Of Glory” and “Die You Bastard!”
Recorded at Olympic and Eel Pie Studios in London during February and March 1983, the album captures a slightly different side of Motörhead, with Robertson's more melodic and technically expressive guitar style adding another dimension to Lemmy's trademark heavy rock sound.
The album opens with the driving “Back At The Funny Farm”, while “Shine,” “Dancing On Your Grave” and “I Got Mine” showcase the combination of heavy riffs and memorable guitar work that makes Another Perfect Day stand out in the Motörhead catalogue.
