Description: Mumford & Sons’ RUSHMERE is the band’s fifth studio album, released on 28 March 2025. Produced by Dave Cobb and Mumford & Sons, the album marked the group’s return following a seven-year gap and continues their evolution of folk-rock into a broader, more expansive sound.
This 12" LP is the JB Hi-Fi & Indie Exclusive Edition, pressed on limited 140g Bloodshot Red Vinyl and housed in a gatefold jacket with a lyric-printed inner sleeve. The Bloodshot Red pressing is a specialist-retail edition, distinct from the standard recycled black vinyl release.
The album features 10 tracks, opening with “Malibu,” “Caroline,” “Rushmere,” “Monochrome” and “Truth.” Side Two continues with “Where It Belongs,” “Anchor,” “Surrender,” “Blood On The Page” featuring Madison Cunningham and “Carry On.”
The title track “Rushmere”, alongside songs such as “Caroline,” “Truth” and “Surrender,” showcases the band's return to their roots while incorporating the more expansive production that has characterised their later work. The album debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, making it Mumford & Sons’ third UK No. 1 album.
For collectors, the Bloodshot Red Vinyl edition offers a striking alternative to the standard black pressing, with the gatefold packaging and printed inner sleeve completing the presentation.
