The album sees Mike Rosenberg expand his acoustic singer-songwriter style with a richer, more cinematic sound, exploring themes of travel, nature, identity and self-discovery.
This 12" LP features the album's original 10-track sequence, including “Everything,” “If You Go,” “When We Were Young,” “Somebody’s Love,” “Beautiful Birds” featuring Birdy, and the title track “Young As The Morning Old As The Sea.”
Recorded at Roundhead Studios in Auckland and Linear Studios in Sydney, the album was co-produced by Passenger and longtime collaborator Chris Vallejo, with a full band contributing to its warm and expansive sound.
