Recorded during their historic reunion concert at New York’s Central Park on 19 September 1981, the performance attracted more than half a million people and marked their first full concert together in over a decade.
This 12" 2LP is the 2017 reissue, released through Sony Music / Legacy Recordings. The 19-track live collection features classic performances including “Mrs. Robinson,” “Homeward Bound,” “America,” “Scarborough Fair,” “The Boxer,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin’ Groovy)” and “The Sound Of Silence.”
The concert also features Paul Simon solo favourites including “Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard,” “Still Crazy After All These Years,” “Late In The Evening” and “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover,” giving the album a broader look at both artists’ work.
