Following her success with Fleetwood Mac, Nicks established her own distinctive sound across the album, blending rock, pop and folk influences with her unmistakable vocals and songwriting.
This 12" 2LP is the Record Store Day 2022 Deluxe Edition, featuring the original album remastered from the 2016 edition alongside a second LP of studio outtakes, alternate versions, demos and soundtrack recordings. The expanded release includes classic tracks such as “Edge of Seventeen,” “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” “Leather and Lace,” “After the Glitter Fades” and the title track “Bella Donna.”
The bonus LP offers a deeper look into the making of Bella Donna, with alternate takes of “Edge of Seventeen,” “Think About It,” “How Still My Love” and “Leather and Lace,” as well as previously unreleased versions of “Gold and Braid,” “If You Were My Love” and “The Dealer.” The set also features “Blue Lamp” and “Sleeping Angel” from their respective soundtrack appearances.
Limited to 15,000 copies, this RSD 2022 edition is an appealing addition for Stevie Nicks fans, Fleetwood Mac collectors and vinyl enthusiasts looking for an expanded edition of one of the defining albums of Nicks’ solo career.
