Description: The Killers’ Pressure Machine is the American rock band’s seventh studio album, originally released on 13 August 2021. Inspired by frontman Brandon Flowers’ upbringing in the small town of Nephi, Utah, the album takes a more introspective and stripped-back approach than the band’s earlier synth-driven rock sound.
This 12" 1LP is the original pressing, released through EMI / Island Records. The 11-track album includes “West Hills,” “Quiet Town,” “Cody,” “Runaway Horses” featuring Phoebe Bridgers, “In the Car Outside,” and the title track “Pressure Machine.”
Produced by Jonathan Rado and Shawn Everett, Pressure Machine blends alternative rock with folk, Americana and heartland rock influences. Its narrative-driven songs explore small-town life, isolation, addiction, family and personal reflection, creating one of the most intimate and atmospheric records in The Killers’ catalogue.
