Description: Metallica’s Master Of Puppets is the band’s third studio album, originally released on 3 March 1986. It was also the final Metallica studio album to feature bassist Cliff Burton.
This 12" LP is the 2015 Reissue, released through Elektra / Virgin EMI. The album contains eight tracks, including the iconic “Battery”, “Master Of Puppets”, “The Thing That Should Not Be”, “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)”, “Disposable Heroes”, “Leper Messiah”, “Orion” and “Damage, Inc.”
From the explosive opening of “Battery” through the epic title track and instrumental “Orion”, Master Of Puppets showcases Metallica at the height of their early thrash-metal era. The album was a major commercial and critical success and has since become one of the most influential heavy metal albums ever recorded.
