The record was the breakthrough that established Mötley Crüe as one of the leading hard-rock and heavy-metal bands of the 1980s, featuring the classic singles “Looks That Kill” and “Too Young To Fall In Love.”
This 12" LP is the 2022 BMG reissue, featuring the 2021 remastered audio. The album contains all 11 original tracks, including the title track “Shout At The Devil,” “Looks That Kill,” “Bastard,” “Helter Skelter,” “Red Hot,” “Knock 'Em Dead, Kid,” “Ten Seconds To Love” and “Danger.”
Produced by Tom Werman, the album captures Mötley Crüe at the height of their early Los Angeles metal era, combining heavy guitar riffs, driving drums and Vince Neil's distinctive vocals. The record also includes the instrumental “God Bless The Children Of The Beast” and the band's energetic cover of The Beatles' “Helter Skelter.”
The 2021 remaster gives this classic album an updated presentation while retaining the original 11-track programme. For fans of 1980s metal, glam metal and hard rock, Shout At The Devil remains one of Mötley Crüe's essential albums.
