Description: OneRepublic’s Oh My My is the American pop-rock band's fourth studio album, originally released on 7 October 2016. The album followed 2013's Native and saw the band expand their established pop-rock sound with electronic, dance and alternative influences.
This 12" 2LP is the 2016 pressing, released through Mosley Music / Interscope Records. The album contains 16 tracks across four sides, including some of OneRepublic's most recognisable songs: “Let's Hurt Tonight,” “Kids,” “Wherever I Go,” “Oh My My,” “Future Looks Good,” “A.I.” and “Heaven.”
The album features several notable collaborations, including French electronic duo Cassius on the title track, Peter Gabriel on “A.I.” and Santigold on “NbHD.” These collaborations reflect the album's more experimental approach, with OneRepublic combining their melodic pop-rock songwriting with electronic production and diverse musical influences.
Frontman Ryan Tedder and the band aimed to retain a sense of live instrumentation while incorporating modern electronic production. The result is a broad and ambitious record that moves between energetic pop-rock, atmospheric electronic tracks and more reflective songs.
