The album introduced P!nk with an R&B and dance-pop sound and produced three hit singles: “There You Go,” “Most Girls” and “You Make Me Sick.” The album reached No. 10 on the Australian Albums Chart and helped establish P!nk as a major new pop artist.
This 12" 2LP is the 2017 vinyl reissue, released through Sony Music / Legacy and marking the first commercial vinyl release of Can’t Take Me Home. The album contains all 13 original tracks across four sides, including “Split Personality,” “Most Girls,” “There You Go,” “You Make Me Sick,” “Can’t Take Me Home” and “Is It Love.”
The album showcases P!nk's early sound, combining contemporary R&B, dance-pop and hip-hop influences with polished production from producers including Babyface, Kevin “She'kspere” Briggs, Kandi Burruss, Daryl Simmons and Tricky. P!nk also shared songwriting credits on seven of the album's 13 tracks.
“There You Go” introduced P!nk as a solo artist with its confident R&B-pop production, while “Most Girls” became another major early hit. “You Make Me Sick” brought a darker edge to the album and became its third and final single.
