This 12" 1LP is the 2008 remastered reissue, pressed on 180g black vinyl and released through Island Records. The 11-track album features U2’s first major single “I Will Follow,” alongside “Out Of Control,” “Twilight,” “An Cat Dubh,” “Into The Heart,” “The Electric Co.” and “A Day Without Me.” The official U2 release confirms that the vinyl edition contains the remastered album on 180g vinyl with restored packaging.
Recorded at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin, Boy captures U2 at the beginning of their career, with Bono’s expressive vocals, The Edge’s distinctive guitar textures, Adam Clayton’s bass and Larry Mullen Jr.’s driving drums creating a sound that was already remarkably assured for a debut.
For fans of U2, post-punk, alternative rock and classic 1980s music, this 180g remastered 1LP edition is an essential addition to any vinyl collection.
