This 10" shaped picture disc was released as a 2017 Record Store Day Exclusive, with the picture disc die-cut in the shape of Baby Groot. Released through Hollywood Records, the two-sided collectible features “Guardians Inferno” on Side One and Tyler Bates’ “Dad” on Side Two. The release was issued for Record Store Day Black Friday 2017.
“Guardians Inferno” is performed by The Sneepers featuring David Hasselhoff and was created as a deliberately retro disco track for the film, while “Dad” is one of Tyler Bates’ original score pieces from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Together, the two tracks offer a fun combination of the film's pop-culture soundtrack and cinematic score.
