Following the enormous success of Whispering Jack, the album continued Farnham’s run of major Australian releases, combining polished pop-rock production, powerful vocals and heartfelt songwriting.
This 12" LP 2017 reissue was released through RCA / Sony Music and features 12 tracks, including the major hit “That’s Freedom”, alongside “Burn For You”, “In Days To Come”, “See The Banners Fall”, “I Can Do Anything”** and the title track “Chain Reaction”.
The album moves between energetic rock tracks and more reflective material, with Farnham’s powerful vocals remaining at the centre. Chain Reaction debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was the highest-selling album in Australia in 1990, making it an important release in Farnham’s career.
