Description: KISS drummer Peter Criss released his self-titled solo album in 1978, as part of the famous four-album solo project issued simultaneously by each member of KISS. Produced by Vini Poncia, the album reveals a softer, more soulful side of Criss, blending rock, pop and disco influences with his distinctive vocals.

This 12" LP 2014 Reissue was released through Casablanca and features the original 10-track album. Highlights include “I'm Gonna Love You”, “You Matter To Me”, “Tossin' And Turnin'”, “Don't You Let Me Down”, “Rock Me Baby”, “Kiss The Girl Goodbye” and “I Can't Stop The Rain”.

Much of the material dates back to Criss's pre-KISS band Lips, giving the album a strong connection to his musical roots before he became part of KISS. The album also includes Criss's version of “Tossin' And Turnin'”, originally a No. 1 hit for Bobby Lewis in 1961.

For KISS collectors, Peter Criss is an essential part of the band's unique 1978 solo-album series, offering a very different musical perspective from the group's main catalogue.
