Description: Pink Floyd’s A Foot In The Door – The Best Of Pink Floyd is a career-spanning compilation, originally released on CD in 2011 before receiving its first vinyl release in 2018. The collection brings together some of the band's most celebrated recordings from 1967 to 1994, offering an accessible introduction to one of rock's most influential bands.
This 12" 2LP is the 2018 remastered edition, pressed on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve. The 16-track collection includes “See Emily Play,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Time / Breathe (Reprise),” “Money,” “Comfortably Numb,” “High Hopes,” “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” “Brain Damage” and “Eclipse.”
The tracks were newly mastered for vinyl by James Guthrie and Joel Plante, with lacquers cut by Bernie Grundman. The vinyl edition also restores the ringing alarm clocks at the beginning of “Time,” which were omitted from the original CD version.
For Pink Floyd fans and collectors, A Foot In The Door offers an excellent collection of the band's essential tracks in a beautifully presented 2LP edition.
