Description: Prince’s Naked In The Summertime: 1990 Broadcast Recording Vol. 1 captures the legendary artist and his band performing live at Madrid’s Vicente Calderón Stadium on 22 July 1990, during the European leg of the Nude Tour. The performance showcases Prince moving between funk, rock, pop and soul across material from throughout his career.
This 12" LP is the 2016 purple coloured vinyl pressing, released through Parachute Recording Company. The 22-track release includes live performances of “The Future,” “1999,” “Housequake,” “Kiss,” “Purple Rain,” “Alphabet St.,” “Controversy,” “D.M.S.R.,” “Do Me, Baby,” “Nothing Compares 2 U” and “Batdance.” It also includes bonus recordings from Prince’s Tokyo performance on 31 August 1990.
For Prince fans and live-music collectors, this broadcast recording offers an energetic snapshot of one of the artist’s most celebrated touring eras.
