This 12" 2LP is the original 2018 pressing, released through Legacy Recordings. The 14-track collection includes “Unchained Melody,” “Blue Bayou,” “She’s A Mystery To Me,” “The Great Pretender,” “The Crowd,” “Crawling Back,” “Danny Boy” and “California Blue.” The album also features additional instrumentation from Orbison’s sons Wesley, Roy Jr. and Alex, along with backing vocals from members of the Orbison family.
Produced by Don Reedman and Nick Patrick, Unchained Melodies combines Orbison’s unmistakable voice with the rich sound of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, creating an emotional new presentation of songs spanning his career.
