Description: Silverchair’s Israel’s Son is the Australian rock band’s third single from their debut studio album, Frogstomp, originally released in 1995. The track became one of the defining songs from Silverchair’s early grunge-influenced period, showcasing the heavy guitar-driven sound that helped establish the band internationally.
This 12" 180g EP is the 2022 Limited Edition Smoke Coloured Vinyl pressing, released through Music On Vinyl. Limited to 2,000 individually numbered copies, the four-track release features “Israel’s Son” alongside live recordings of “Blind,” “Leave Me Out” and “Undecided,” captured at the Big Day Out festival in Melbourne.
This edition was the first time Israel’s Son was released on vinyl and forms part of Music On Vinyl’s Silverchair Collection. The 180g pressing also includes a leather-laminate sleeve and an insert showcasing other titles in the collection.
For Silverchair fans and Australian rock collectors, this limited smoke-coloured pressing is a great piece from the band's early catalogue.
