Description: Silverchair’s Pure Massacre is the Australian rock band’s second single from their debut studio album, Frogstomp, originally released in 1994. The track followed the success of “Tomorrow” and continued Silverchair’s early grunge-influenced sound, with Daniel Johns’ powerful vocals and heavy guitar work at the forefront.
This 12" 180g EP is the 2022 Limited Edition Green Marbled Vinyl pressing, released through Music On Vinyl. Limited to 2,000 individually numbered copies, the three-track release features “Pure Massacre” alongside live versions of “Faultline” and “Stoned.” The pressing features a leather-laminated sleeve and an insert showcasing other titles from the Silverchair Collection.
“Pure Massacre” became another major success for Silverchair, charting in Australia, New Zealand and the US. For fans of 1990s alternative rock and grunge, this limited green marbled edition is a collectible piece from the band's breakthrough era.
