Description: The Beatles’ Larry Kane’s Ticket to Ride is a unique spoken-word Beatles release documenting the band’s historic tours of North America in 1964 and 1965. Rather than a traditional studio album, the release features the voices of The Beatles as recorded and presented by American broadcast journalist Larry Kane, who travelled with the group throughout their groundbreaking touring years.
This 12" 1LP Picture Disc was released in 2012 through Vinyl Legacy as an original picture disc pressing. The release features two extended interview segments, with “Interview Pt. 1” appearing on Side One and “Interview Pt. 2” on Side Two. Kane’s recordings offer an insight into The Beatles during the height of Beatlemania, capturing their personalities and experiences away from their studio recordings.
