Recorded during the Stones’ legendary 1969 American Tour, the album captures the group at a pivotal moment, with Mick Taylor making his first full appearance on a Rolling Stones album.
This 12" 1LP is the 2003 reissue, released through London / Decca. The 10-track live album features electrifying performances of “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Carol,” “Stray Cat Blues,” “Love In Vain,” “Midnight Rambler,” “Sympathy For The Devil,” “Honky Tonk Women,” and “Street Fighting Man.”
Recorded primarily at New York’s Madison Square Garden, with additional material from Baltimore, Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out! showcases The Rolling Stones at their rawest and most powerful. Mick Jagger’s commanding vocals, Keith Richards and Mick Taylor’s guitar interplay, and the driving rhythm section of Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman capture the intensity of the band in concert.
