This 7" single was released for Record Store Day 2020 as a Triple J RSD Exclusive, with “Elastic Heart” appearing on Side One and “We’re Going Home” on Side Two. The limited release gives collectors the opportunity to own two recordings from Vance Joy’s memorable Like A Version session on vinyl.
Vance Joy’s acoustic interpretation of Sia’s “Elastic Heart” strips the original back to an intimate singer-songwriter performance, while “We’re Going Home” showcases his own songwriting in a live triple j studio setting. Both tracks were also part of the 2018 Hottest 100 voting list.
